TORONTO, Feb. 27, 2014 /CNW/ – Which new quick service menu items do Canadians think are the best? Market research firm BrandSpark International wants to know. BrandSpark, the research company behind the Best New Product Awards (BNPAs), Canada’s most credible awards program, brings their research expertise to the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry with the launch of its national restaurant awards program – the Best New Menu Item Awards (BNMI Awards).
The BNMI Awards will be 100% consumer voted using a national survey of thousands of Canadians who regularly frequent quick service restaurants. In addition to the award winners, this information will be used to learn about the eating habits of QSR customers and will be published in the new BrandSpark Restaurant Study.

To be eligible for a 2014 BNMI Award, new menu items must have been launched between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013 and have sufficient distribution to find past buyers.
The deadline to register is March 21, 2014 and winners will be announced in spring 2014. There is no cost to enter the program.
